If you thought that the iPhone 6 was thin (or even thinner than it should be), you should check out the new OPPO R5, which is almost 2mm thinner than Apple’s thinnest.

What an amazing looking device! Guess I'd have to dust off those Bluetooth earphones to listen quietly with this haha.

how thin is too thin? too thin is when you make a phone so thin that it can't even have a head phone jack because the company is trying to 1 up Apple.

Have to be mid-range because a top of the line SoC would be too hot and too power hungry.

I'm Highmay RRRivera and I have a very annoying voice.  I also look and sound just like that little comedian Patton Oswalt.

They get the camera came out a bit but did not do it for the 3.5 mm earphone jack. Love the design, just not gonna get one.

Sorry to be blunt but I could give less of two fucks about a phone being super thin. I'm tired of that being a sought after trait in a smartphone and as a result, it's hard to find a smartphone with a REAL battery in it that actually lasts.

I don't see no Bluetooth enabled Sennheiser Momentums being made, and I don't see myself buying this phone because of that.

OOOOOO, Fancy! I just don't really like that screen lag… It ruins the phone for me

This obsession with "thinner" smartphones is ridiculous.

No headphone jack? No thanks xD the thickness means nothing to me. As long as it's not over a certain mm range say 10-12 I'm good. Going uber thin like this looks extremely attractive yes, but it sacrifices certain things for the sake of a spec stunt. Manufacturers should focus more on bezels in my opinion.

I don't feel the need to have an extremely thin phone, but somehow I do like the idea of physical headphone jacks becoming obsolete and Bluetooth becoming the new standard.

scarlet johansson's body vs an ANTM model's/super model's body? definitely the former!
    we hate super thin phones!

i don't need a thin phone that is 5.2" in screen size and probably 5.5-6" long, that would be difficult to hold, and the absence of a 3.5mm jack? deal breaker, 2000mah battery that powers the 1080p screen? even though it's an octa core device, the battery wouldn't still be enough for it to go the distance. 6-7mm thick is enough for me, because i find it hard to hold a thin phone, my phone at the moment is 6.8mm thin and i find it hard not to drop it while holding it. there's just not enough grip for me.

So Oppo basically made an iPhone 5 with a dull gui slapped onto android and removed the headphone jack just to prove they can make a phone thinner than the iPhone 6? yawn

What's up with people complaining about no headphone jack? Don't buy it.
And if you do, get a bluetooth headset, and if the sound quality isn't good enough… then why did you buy a phone with no advantages in sound quality?

Why do manufacturers think the only innovation is to make a phone thinner and lighter? I don't care if a phone is the thinnest and lightest in the world as long as though it's not bulky.

When you are holding something thin and light, you're more likely to drop it.

Considering that there aren't any companies making mp3 players anymore most people use their phones for listening to music. This has got to be the dumbest thing ever.
